Chelsea FC completed signing Ziyech for €40m, Werner for €60m, and reportedly interested in Kai Havertz for €80m. The spending will force Chelsea to take a long look at their lineups and have to cut in order to balance the fund.
According to AS, only N’Golo Kante could be sacrificed to free up space. The Spanish publication reports that Real Madrid is interested in the World Champion who is under contract with the English club until 2023. PSG has been linked with the 29-year-old in the past as well.
For either clubs who interested to sign Kante, he will not become cheaper. Transfermarkt sets a market value for the Frenchman at €80m and according to the AS, N'Golo Kante earns €8.7m per year in salary.
